Here, here! This is great work, to be sure - the colours compliment LagunaL8 's magnificent conceptual drawing to a tee, bringing what was essentiially a (very refined) sketch into the realm of full-blown art. I told the extremely talented original artist that I thought her re-interpretation of the character was the best Bumblebee I have ever seen, and this finished rendering just makes me want to rush out and buy the thing! Such a shame it isn't a real toy... (are we taking notes here, Hasbro?). The traditional cel-shaded technique you have seen fit to employ here really suits the style of the linework, adding to rather than overshadowing (a problem inherent with a lot of collaborative work). The composition is well thought out, having selected the key ingredients from the original submission for presentation in this piece. The layout, including background and text elements, work extremely well to deliver a highly pollished exhibition. You've keenly taken fundementals from the original character and deftly incorportated them into the concept behind the current 'Galaxy Force/Cybertron' franchise to tantelizing effect. God I want this damn toy...! I really don't know what else to say, other than this is excellent work, and I want to see much more from the likes of yourself in the not-too-distant future. Magnificent stuff, good sir!
